The GP Logger is a simple battery powered recording system, which allows the user a wide range of signal
input and scanning rate options. The GP Logger is available with 8 or 16 inputs. Signal inputs may be
analogue or digital. Results are stored in a non-volatile, detachable memory cartridge with USB interface.
Logger data can be read into a PC while the memory cartridge is fitted to the logger. Alternatively, the cartridge
can be disconnected from the data logger and “interrogated” by the PC.
All the input signal types and scanning requirements are also stored in the data memory cartridge and can be
transferred to the logger. (A security procedure protects the contents if the wrong cartridge is fitted to a logger.)
The users choice of input types, logging rate and other special requirements are referred to as the “setup”. Once
entered, these values are held in the logger memory until changed by the user.
In addition, the logger and cartridge firmware may be updated via a computer to provide new or modified features.
The updates are transmitted directly to the GP-Logger via the cartridge. A new GP-Logger setup can be carried in a
cartridge to a logger at a remote field site and be transmitted automatically from the cartridge into the logger
The GP Logger is supplied with a 12V battery, one 128K Byte memory cartridge, USB cable.
